YOUR THERAPIST

YOUR THERAPIST: LARYSA ZARUBENKO

ABOUT ME

I am an accredited psychotherapist, registered member of UK Council for Psychotherapy. I specialise in trauma, relationships and codependent patterns. I support adults, parents and families who want to understand themselves better, heal emotional wounds, and build more stable, healthy and meaningful relationships.

I work using Gestalt therapy and Brainspotting, with a trauma-informed approach that recognises the connection between emotional experiences, the body and psychosomatic symptoms.

My work is grounded in deep respect for each person’s life story. I offer a warm, supportive and safe space where change can happen at your own pace.

I am Ukrainian, have experience living in different countries (the USA and the Netherlands), and have been living in London since 2022.

EXPERIENCE

I began my private practice as a psychotherapist in 2018. I have particular experience supporting people through crisis, major life transitions, relationship difficulties and ongoing stress, the long-term effects of trauma related to war, displacement, work, identity and finding one’s place in life.

I know how to work deeply and carefully with people, supporting meaningful and sustainable change through a thoughtful, attuned therapeutic process.

FOR WHO?
FOR WHO?

I work with adults (individuals and groups) who are going through emotional difficulties related to:

  • Trauma;

  • Relationship difficulties;

  • Crisis, life changes;

  • Ongoing stress;

  • Separation processes;

  • Anxiety and emotional regulation;

  • Psychosomatic and body-related symptoms;

  • Compulsive patterns;

  • Identity, work and personal direction.

If you are feeling stuck, facing a major life change, or sensing that something in your life no longer feels right, we can work with you on it during therapeutic sessions.

I can do therapy in English, Ukrainian and Russian.

YOUR SESSION

YOUR SESSION

Before the first session, there is an option of a free 15-minute introductory call. This call allows us to briefly discuss your concerns, clarify practical details and see whether working together feels right for you. It is also a chance to ask any organisational or initial questions before starting therapy.

Each therapy session lasts 50 minutes and can take place online or in person (in London). Sessions are held in a calm, confidential space where you can speak openly and at your own pace. You do not need to prepare anything in advance. We begin with what feels most important for you in that moment.

CONTACT

If you would like to book a session or ask a question, you are welcome to get in touch through this contact form or by email.

I will respond as soon as possible to discuss next steps or arrange an introductory call.
